The Barça coach recognises his side's finishing was not up to scratch but also that they created plenty of chances
Luis Enrique spoke in the press room following Barça's defeat in the Artemio Franchi Stadium. "Fiorentina kept the ball well and they have potential," declared the blaugrana coach." Despite admitting errors, Luis Enrique declared that "there are plenty of aspects of the game that I liked. We lacked effectiveness in front of goal but we did create a host of chances."
The coach admitted that there are "things to improve" and that this defeat "has to serve as a stimulus for the team. We are very good if we are at 100% but if we are not then we are not so good," added the coach.
"When an opponent gets the better of you in a game, normally they close off the space inside and force you wide. We worked that situation well and we were able to get into their box. We just needed to score," he commented.
