Sweden's Prince Carl Philip married former Glamour model and reality TV star Sofia Hellqvist, 30, at a ceremony in the chapel at Stockholm's Royal Palace. Prince Carl is the 3rd in line to the throne behind his elder sister Princess Victoria and her daughter, Princess Estelle.

Princess Sofia is a former glamour model, who once posed topless while clutching a snake to preserve her modesty.

As a glamour model, Hellqvist won the men's magazine Slitz‍ 's "Miss Slitz" competition in 2004 and was then cast and participated in the reality television show Paradise Hotel in 2005.
Hellqvist had been in a relationship with Prince Carl Philip since 2010. After the initial confirmation of their relationship, it was reported that the Swedish monarchy was "on the defensive", due to Hellqvist's history as a semi-nude erotic model and reality show contestant.In April 2011, the couple moved in together at a private estate in Djurgarden, Sweden.

In June 2014, Sofia and Carl Philip announced their engagement, on June 13, 2015 at the Royal Palace chapel in Stockholm.

Nine pregnant girls rescued from Enugu baby factory by the Police

The Enugu State Police Command on Saturday rescued nine pregnant girls during a raid on a baby factory at the 9th Mile area of the state.

The Police Public Relations Officer of the command, Mr. Ebere Amaraizu, said that the baby factory belonged to Ikechukwu Onoh who ran the baby factory from his home. Onoh was arrested during the raid and the girls are now in Police custody

The ladies were identified as Stella James, 19, from Ohaozara, Ebonyi State; Eze Jennifer, 19, from Obukpa in Nsukka LGA, Enugu State; Ugwu Christabel, 17, a native of Aku, in Igbo-Etiti LGA, Enugu State; Happiness Mbaonu, 17, from Nnewi, Anambra State; and Ovunna Ifeoma, 20, from Ezza, in Ebonyi State, Esther Nwankwo, 21, a native of Nkalagu, in Ebonyi State; Onyedika Agu, 23, of Isuawa, Awgu in Enugu State; Blessing James, 23, from Ohafia, Abia State; and Chibueze Ujunwa, 24, from Aninri LGA, Enugu State.

Onoh claimed that he got a provisional approval in October 2007 from the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development in the state to admit and shelter pregnant women in his hospital, known as Tex Hospital and Maternity Home, which is located at 9th Mile. He said he decided to keep the pregnant girls in his private residence when the said hospital was closed down.

He admitted that he only notified the authorities through phone calls whenever he admitted any pregnant woman rather than follow the normal procedure of formally informing although the ministry within 24 hours of admitting them.

Some of the girls told police that Onoh took care of them on the agreement that he would take the babies upon delivery.

Christabel, who claimed she got pregnant after she was raped, said her aunt directed her to Onoh's residence.

She said her parents wanted to marry her off to an old man because of the 'unwanted' pregnancy.

Another girl, Happiness Mbaonu, said she was impregnated by an unknown man who took her home when she was stranded at Holy Ghost Park in Enugu.
This, she said made her seek for assistance through one of her relations, who directed her to the home.

The police are still investigating the matter.

French Police detain Six-year-old girl for three days at airport

Paris airport police held a 6-year-old French girl for three days on suspicion she had a fake passport until a judge ordered her released into her mother's arms, a lawyer said.

Authorities insist that police were just doing their jobs to protect children from trafficking, but the case has caused indignation in France amid sensitive debate over police treatment of waves of undocumented migrants coming to Europe in recent months.

The girl was detained Saturday at Charles de Gaulle airport, after arriving from Cameroon, said lawyer Sidonie Leoue. The girl was traveling as an unaccompanied minor carrying all necessary documents, and her mother was waiting at the Paris airport to greet her, Leoue said.

Police thought the girl's passport photo didn't resemble her, and suspected a fake, according to the lawyer and the French Interior Ministry.

The Paris-born girl was held in a special police day care for three days before she appeared before a judge, who asked the girl to identify her mother, seated across the courtroom, the lawyer said. The girl also was shown photos of a teacher and classmates from a school she had attended in France, and was asked to identify them, which she did.

"The judge said it was all a mistake" and ordered the girl's release, Leoue said. "It's inadmissible that minors are held there like this, especially for a reason such as this."

"Verifying the identity of a child, establishing with certainty the link between the (child) and the person traveling with them or waiting for them at the airport, is about protecting the child against trafficking, kidnapping," he said. He said minors are held in a special nursery at the airport run by Red Cross staff "to make their stay as calm as possible."
However, amid anger over the girl's case, he said the ministry issued guidance Friday urging border police to handle such cases very quickly to avoid delays.

Pierre Henry, head of migrants' rights group France Terre d'Asile, said the case and another reported in French media Friday about a 3-year-old girl from Ivory Coast who was also detained at the airport, were "abhorrent" and reflected the "state of thinking" and suspicion surrounding migrants.

"It is an incident that should be condemned, and should lead to reflection," said Henry. He warned against generalities, however, and acknowledged that airport police have made marked improvements in the handling of underage illegal migrants in recent years.
The girl was not identified because she is a minor. Her mother, speaking on Europe-1 radio, said her daughter "cried a lot" after the incident.

"She doesn't stop talking about it," said the mother, who was identified only by her first name Isabelle to protect her daughter's identity.
"She asks each time 'but why are they talking about me? Why did they do this to me?'"

Interior Ministry spokesman Pierre-Henry Brandet said police are still analyzing whether the passport is valid and confiscated it pending further investigation.

A fetish 419 syndicate that specializes in deceiving ailing members of the public with false claims of having spiritual powers to heal them of their diseases and then steal from them, have been arrested and paraded by the Oyo state police command at the state police headquarters in Ibadan. The men who stole as much as N30million from their victims were paraded on Friday June 12th.

According to Vanguard, members of the syndicate were arrested at their shrine in Baale-Ayo, Asejire and Balogun village off Eleyele/Ido road in Ibadan.

Among those arrested by the police were 48 year old Sherifat Badamosi, who played the role of the witch, 42 year old Samsondeen Abiola a photographer whose role was to lure rich victims to their trap, 41 year old Oriyomi Adebayo who played the role of a spy, 37 year old Alhaji Akeem Azeez Olayod who is the leader of the gang and 43 year old Ayankule Ayanlowo who played the role of a fake herbalist.

The leader of the syndicate, Azeez Olayode while confessing to the crime said

"I was a Fuji musician and my stage name is Santana, I was duped and those who duped me told me to become a fraudster in a bid to retrieve my money and that was how I started. I started 6 years ago, I don't know those people we dupe personally, I am usually linked up when their is any job, they call on me. They call me when they have customers so that we can work together. I help them in blending leaves for concoction. When someone who has problem comes to the Babalawo for diabetes, stroke or other ailments, the man whom we work together has juju, he will cure the diabetes or any other ailment they bring, when the problem is cured, we ask the person to pay a certain amount. The Babalawo is not genuine, he is a fake Babalawo. I can say I have duped like 10 people, the first person paid 30 million naira to cure diabetes, he paid in batches like 5,7,8 million. Their was one that had injury in the leg which was not healing up and he paid 15 million naira"he said

The fake herbalist in the group, Ayankunle Ayanlowo while confessing said

"I know how to make concoction, I get connected through Azeez Olayode to the clients and they pay me 500,000 naira per operation, I don't have a car but I have a house".

For the photographer, Mr Samsondeen, he said

"I met Mr Olayode at Options, a club very close to officers mess, I am a photographer, I take photographs at options and that was how I got his contact. When his child was doing Islamic graduation I did three albums for him so I see him as a customer. When the Police came to my house that night, they asked if I was the photographer they called on phone and I was told to follow them. I move around, I don't have a shop, I am even supposed to be in Ilorin presently" he said.

Items recovered from the syndicate included three cars, a toyota venza saloon car which costs 4.8 million naira, 4matic mercedes benz jeep which costs 6 million naira, honda crosstour saloon car worth N3.5 million naira and assorted criminal charms.

Speaking with journalists after parading the suspects, the state Commissioner of Police Mohammad Musa Katsina said

"This place is a place where many victims have visited and all of them came here but left this environment in bruises. The gentleman (Azeez Olayode) who spoke with you is the leader of this hypnotising syndicate that whenever you are brought here, they do everything to diminish your sense or any sense in you and as result they subdue you to the point of parting with anything that is valuable. He met an octogenarian who is in Ibadan and dispossessed him of the sum of 30 million naira. Somebody living in the United States of America who came to this place was also unfortunate enough to have fallen into their trap, he did not leave their trap until they defrauded him the sum of 20 million naira, they have duped many people here and today we are here and as I did tell you I have the capacity and well withal to deal with them to chase them wherever they are" he said.
