According to sources, it's been nine days that popular hotelier and socialite, Alhaji Tunji Alaso, whom a lot of people refer to as Alhaji Gay, was killed, but the community he lived and was killed in remains very silent, even though it's been nine days into his death. According to sources, police officers and soldiers were deployed immediately to Alagbado when the hotelier was murdered to forestall violence in the community.

Police patrol vans also moved freely in the community incase his boys were planning to retaliate so that the attack could easily be curbed. Police vans were also stationed at the front of his two hotels and major junctions in the area. Sources said the police officers deployed to his hotels were still spotted there as far as Friday even though he was murdered on Monday. Continue...


A lot of shop owners didn't open in the area, especially at moshalashi bus stop, the area he was murdered till this week for fear of being attacked, a source said.


So far a traditional ruler, the Baale of Temidire Alagbado, his son, and nine others have been arrested in connection of his murder. And like we broke the news of his death, we can still tell you authoritatively that Alhaji Tunji Alaso was stabbed to death and was never shot like many reported. Though a Muslim, he is yet to be buried, because the Police are still investigating the matter.
